HEPTANE is highly flammable with a very wide combustible range. It should be kept away from heat and open flame.

Lab grade Heptane contains different isomers of heptane including, n-Heptane and iso-Heptane. Flash point 25°F. Less dense than water and insoluble in water. Vapors heavier than air. It is a straight chain alkane that is derived from gasoline. It appears as a clear or colorless liquid with a petroleum-like odor at room temperature.

This product is for further commercial manufacturing, laboratory or research use, and may be used as an excipient or a process solvent for pharmaceutical purposes. It is not intended for use as an active ingredient in drug manufacturing nor as a medical device or disinfectant. Appropriate/legal use of this product is the responsibility of the user.
